The Institute of Cancer Research The Institute of Cancer Research is Europe\'s leading cancer research centre with expert scientists working on cutting edge research from Genetics and basic Biology, right through to Drug Discovery and Clinical Trials. For nearly 100 years it has been our mission ?to relieve human suffering by pursuing excellence in the fight against cancer. Each year brings new discoveries and treatments for cancer and, as the world leader in cancer genetics and a world leader in cancer drug discovery and development, The Institute is at the forefront of such research. Our scientists have made significant advances in the fight against cancer. This is a time of hope and new breakthroughs continue to make a real difference to people?s lives. The Institute works in a unique partnership with The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, which ensures that the research reaches the patients at the earliest time possible.
